Before you burn me at the stake just listen:

I really would like to hear about their DSG competitor transmission. Yes, an slush box. I like them. They don't hamper my ability to enjoy life. So, there I said it. If the car is from the 1980s and is sporty I want manual because the auto would hurt performance even on everyday driving. But today I like auto's. I don't even car for paddle shift. Just give me a ZF quality 6 or 8 speed. Just something that makes traffic not so bad and make driving fun. No need for dual clutch, torque converters are improving. In any matter a car like this is most amazing because of chassis and engine. The transmission doesn't hurt or make the car (only for future models) for me unless its something a cut above like the ZF for example or Miata where thats the character of the car.

I'm not so sure if they'll give the STs a slush box. While it seems like a good idea, it could boost ST sales for the ones(lazy ones :P) who don't want to shift manually, but I reckon the majority of car enthusiast will have a fit. I could possibly welcome it, but I'd hate it if the slush box was quicker when I just bought my ST this year.

I like the Focus ST but I don't know I've always had a thing for the VW Scirocco and now Kia have the Pro Cee'd (there's a few near me of both of them and each time I see them I just think 'wow'), the Focus is starting to look a little dated and needs more than just a nip and tuck I feel.
